Climate Change Adaptation Project 2008

When Breeze Blows—HIV/AIDS

This very important project focused on the important, topic of AIDS and adolescence. With funding from Shell and broadcast in the Niger Delta region, this drama series addressed issues associated with HIV/AIDS including good parenting, peer pressure and facts about the deadly disease.

The Long Dry Season

“Tales of Greed and Resourcefulness”. Produced with Farm Radio International, this soap opera aimed to educate farmers on how to combat desertification, and to implement sustainable land use.

Rainbow City

In collaboration with the Ford Foundation this extremely successful serial drama focused on democracy, good governance and human rights, particularly for women. It was also a capacity building project for over 25 radio stations in Nigeria and promoted advocacy for  freedom of communication.
